From the author

Hi! I am Shivani
A writer driven by inquiry, observation, and the need to make sense of the world as it is and as it could be. The Urban Journal is my platform to engage with the complex intersections of politics, human psychology, and personal truth.
Through each piece, I reflect not just on external events or systems but also on the internal landscapes that shape how we think, feel and respond. The political is deeply personal and the personal often carries political weight. I write to explore those blurred lines where public narratives meet private experiences, where ideas challenge identity, and where emotion demands reflection.
The Urban Journal is not about providing conclusions but holding space for conversation, discomfort, insight and honesty. If the questions resonate, I hope the words do too.
